What types of painting services do you offer?
We offer a variety of painting services including residential painting, commercial painting, interior painting, hand-painted kitchens, furniture and window painting, hall, stairs, and landing painting, and mould painting.
Are your painters professionally trained?
Yes, our painters are highly trained and experienced in delivering quality painting services to ensure the best results for our clients.
What type/brand of paint is used?
We generally use brands like Dulux and Fleetwood. Upon your request, we can include other premium materials such as Farrow & Ball, Colourtrend, Little Greene, and many more to meet your exact preferences. But, it is up to you what brand you want to go with.
What preparation is needed before starting a painting project?
We handle all the necessary preparation, including sanding, repairs, and priming, to ensure a smooth painting process.
Is your paint safe for homes with children and pets?
Yes, we use non-toxic (- all paint has to be non toxic now) and environmentally friendly paints whenever possible, ensuring safety for families with children and pets.
How long does a typical painting project take?
The duration of a painting project depends on its size and complexity, but we strive to complete all projects in a timely manner while maintaining quality.
Do you clean up after the painting job is completed?
Yes, we always ensure a thorough clean-up after completing the project, leaving your space tidy and ready for use.
How do you handle unexpected issues during a project?
Our team communicates transparently and will discuss any unexpected issues or necessary changes with you during the project.
We recently had our exterior walls painted, but now we're experiencing issues with bubbling and peeling paint. Is there a way to resolve this?
Yes, it can be remedied. However, if the underlying surface preparation wasn’t carried out correctly, there is a possibility that peeling could occur again in the near future, and we cannot assure you that it won’t happen again.
After having my windows painted, how long should I wait before cleaning them?
It is advisable to wait at least a week for the paint on the windows to fully dry before cleaning them.
How frequently should I paint my house?
We recommend repainting your home every 3 to 4 years, and every 2 years if you want to keep up with current trends.
Can I request references?
Absolutely! Feel free to ask us, and we will provide you with several references. You can also visit our testimonial page for more information.
Is there anything the client needs to provide?
No, there is nothing required from the client. The Apartment Painting Team will supply all necessary tools and paints for the job. Only thing we want you to do is to remove all their small belongings like photos, ornaments etc and store them away.
Do you provide a warranty on your painting service?
We do not provide a warranty but if there is an issue after completion we have no problem going back to rectify if it is our issue.
How can I tell when it is time to repaint the exterior of my house?
Generally, it is time to repaint if you observe any cracks or gaps in the walls, fading paint, loose or cracked caulking, peeling plaster, or dampness accompanied by mould. Aside from these signs, a repainting schedule of every 3 to 4 years is recommended.
